The Role

Due to our clients’ requirements and timeframes, only candidates with eligibility to work in New Zealand will be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, and repair underground drainage, sewer, and stormwater systems in accordance with industry standards and regulations
  • Interpret and follow site plans, drawings and specifications to accurately locate and identify drainage infrastructure
  • Troubleshooting and resolving drainage issues including blockages, leaks and damage pipes
  • Excavate trenches, lay pipes, and carry out backfilling and reinstatement safely and efficiently
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety requirements, local regulations, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate effectively with supervisors, contractors, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow and timely project completion
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications in Drainlaying, Plumbing, or equivalent hands-on industry experience
  • Experience in residential, commercial, or civil drainage projects
  • Proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of drainage, sewer, and stormwater systems
  • Physically fit and capable of performing outdoor manual labour in a variety of weather conditions
  • Full Class 1 driver’s license (Class 2 or WTR endorsement is an advantage)
